Route information

Half-Mile Swim
This popular Swim Serpentine event takes in half a lap of the world-famous lake in London’s Hyde Park. It's the perfect option if you’re looking to complete an achievable but memorable swim at your own pace, or making the transition from the pool to open water!
One-Mile Swim
The mile is a classic distance in the world of open water swimming! Our one-mile swim covers one full lap of the famous Serpentine lake, which is the same course as the London 2012 Olympic Marathon Swimming event – so you’ll be following in the swim strokes of some of the world’s top open water swimmers.
Two-Mile Swim
If you’re a more experienced open water swimmer who is keen to take on a challenge within the beautiful grounds of Hyde Park, the two-mile distance is for you! This event will see you swim two full laps of the Serpentine lake, making it the ideal option if you've already completed a one-mile swim outdoors and are looking to build on your distance.
The two-mile distance is also one of the three events that makes up the London Classics.
Super Six
The Super Six at Swim Serpentine offers experienced open water swimmers the chance to swim six miles on this iconic London lake in Hyde Park.
