The race start is signposted and is a 5-minute walk from the Castle. From here you will run a fast and flat route out into the Luneside countryside. This race is great for new beginners or offers great PB potential for more seasoned runners.

There is limited Pay & Display parking around the Castle. There are several car parks within a 10 minute walk of the venue.
There is very little on street parking close to the venue.

Please ensure you arrive early enough to register and warm up.
Age Requirements
All runners must be aged 15 or over on race day to compete in the 10k, and 11 or older to run in the 5k.
Race Packs
You will need to collect your race pack from the race HQ on the day of the event.
Aid Stations
There will be water stations approximately ever 3 miles along the route, as well as at the finish.
Headphones
Headphones are not recommended. For your own safety you need to be aware of what is around you and to be able to take instructions from marshals.

Yes, the fun run is available to enter as an individual runner or as a family of four.
