Route information

Join this race along the Bath and Bristol Railway Path, the 13-mile route connecting the two historic cities. Runners can choose from a 10km, half marathon, 25km (point to point) marathon or 50km

The 50km, Marathon, Half, and 10km routes are out-and-back, flat and fast and are all officially measured and certified for an accurate running experience. Runners will run on tarmac, so will have no mixed terrain to contend with.

The 25km route is point to point from Bath to Bristol. Onward transport from the finish line is not part of the race, but with a train station 500m from the Bristol finish (Bristol Temple Meads) and 800m from the Bath Start (Bath Spa) line, getting a train back to the start is super easy! We will take a bag to Bristol for you as part of your race booking!

By Car

Green Park, the race venue, lies on the banks of the River Avon in the heart of Bath. Bath is easily accessed from the M4 making it an easily accessible venue.

There are multiple large public car parks within 1km of the race start

By Train

The closest station is Bath Spa, which is a 5-minute walk to Green Park. Bath Spa has regular services to Gloucester, Salisbury, Bristol Temple Meads, London Paddington, Portsmouth Harbour, Weymouth and Cardiff Central.

In the event of cancellation all entries will be rolled over to the same event the following year or a choice of alternative races will be made available within 12 months of the original race date if you are not able to make the new date.

Age Requirements

2km: No minimum age
5km: Participants must be 12 years of age or older
10km: Participants must be 16 years of age or older
Half marathon: Participants must be 17 years of age or older
Marathon: Participants must be 18 years of age or older
50km: Participants must be 20 years of age or older

Prizes

The race prize categories are as follows:

First U20 male and female
First 20-39 male and female
First 40-49 male and female
First 50-59 male and female
First 60-69 male and female
First 70+ male and female
The final number of prizes awarded is determined by the number of finishers for each gender in a given race distance. If there are more than 100 finishers then the full range of awards are made as shown above. If there are less than 50-100 finishers then the top 3 finishers overall will be awarded a prize. If there are less than 50 then only the winner will be awarded a prize. We do not have any winner's prizes for any of the children's events as we would like to keep this participation focused.
