Experience Brighton’s spectacular seafront like never before at the BrighTEN Marina Run, the first running event to take participants down the iconic Brighton Marina Wall and back again.
Starting in the heart of Brighton Marina, the route leads you along the dramatic Marina Wall, a striking structure that stretches out into the sea, giving runners the incredible sensation of running above the water.
From here, the course continues east along the scenic Undercliff Path towards Rottingdean, where crashing waves and towering chalk cliffs create a truly unforgettable backdrop. The return journey climbs up onto the Overcliff, offering sweeping views across the English Channel and Brighton’s vibrant skyline before guiding runners back towards the Marina.
The adventure finishes back at Brighton Marina, where a lively atmosphere, stunning coastal views, and a beautiful bespoke medal await you at the finish line. Whether you’re chasing a personal best or simply taking in the scenery, this unique coastal running event showcases the very best of Brighton’s iconic seafront.

Event day timings:
7:30 am - Venue Opens
The car park opens to allow runners to prepare themselves for the race and grab a coffee.
9:00 AM - 10.0mi Distance Race Start!
The race kicks off as the Medium distance runners cross the start line.
9:25 AM - 10.0k Distance Race Start!
The race kicks off as the Short distance runners cross the start line.
1:30 pm - The Race Finishes / Cut-off Time
Your adventure finishes, you will cross the finish line and collect your bag full of goodies.
2:00 pm - The Event Centre Closes
The venue closes.
PLEASE NOTE: Times may be adjusted for logistical reasons. Always read for your pre-event communications that are sent the week of the event, Monday at 09:30am.
Finding Your Way on the Course - Signage:
The race will be clearly signed using PINK arrows and PINK tape.
We will also mark hazards and road junctions with 'Caution' signs. Please take care at these points.
Important Information for Participants:
- You will collect your running bib number on arrival at the event. Please bring your QR code with you on the day and head to 'Registration' for collection.
- Save The Event Phone Number: 02033 717 156.
- Bib numbers should be displayed clearly on the front of you.
- We are plastic free, please bring a reusable cup / bottle for use at the water stations.
- There will be First Aid support located at the on-course aid stations and event centre.
