About

The original Brompton World Championships is back. Join us in London to unfold, ride, and race at Coal Drops Yard, right in the heart of King’s Cross. Bigger than ever, we'll have extra spaces for riding and even new races to partake in.

As always there'll be a jam-packed schedule of events across the weekend, from folding competitions, to the infamous T Line hold, there's something for everyone.

We'll be at the Brompton Village from the evening of Friday 19th all the way through to Sunday 22nd, with DJs, food and drinks and activities galore.

The Main Event

Over 650 riders. Across nine heats. Two world champions.

Our biggest race yet. Start in classic Le Mans style—run to your bike. Unfold. Ride.

Take on five laps of our urban track and earn your place in the Male and Female Finals.

The 4-Fold Relay

Four laps. Four folds. Up to four riders.

Bring your friends, workmates, or your group chat crew. Race as a duo, trio, or team of four. Take it seriously or not. Fancy dress is always welcome.

Route information

The course is a 900 metre, closed, urban race track.

The Main Event

Five laps of our urban track, with fastest 75 Men and fastest 75 Womxn qualifying for the finals.

The 4-Fold Relay

Four laps. Teams of up to four riders. 1 bike. Rider 1 will start by running to and unfolding their bike and riding one lap. At the end of the lap, they will fold the bike, run back and tag in the next rider. Each team will ride a total of 4 laps between them.
