The Haltemprice 10k is one of East Yorkshire's oldest running events. Benefitting from a closed road route, the course is slightly uphill for the first half before a speedy descent back to the finish line, where you'll claim your medal. Come for the scenic villages and Northern hospitality.

Join us for the Haltemprice 10K, one of East Yorkshire’s most established and scenic road races, returning in 2026.

Since its inception in 1987, this much-loved event has become a staple of the autumn running calendar, attracting club runners, local athletes, and first-timers looking for a friendly, well-supported challenge.

The route offers a rewarding mix of countryside lanes,leafy suburbs, and gentle undulations — the perfect blend for chasing a strong time or simply enjoying a classic community-focused race. Whether you’re aiming for a PB, pacing a friend, or ticking off an end-of-season goal, the Haltemprice 10K delivers a brilliant atmosphere from start to finish.

All runners will receive a bespoke medal, chip-timed results, on-course support, and the trademark RunThrough organisation that makes race day smooth and stress-free.

How to get there

Get full directions

Please car share as much as possible. Limited car parking is available at Haltemprice Leisure Centre, Springfield Way, Anlaby, HU10 6QJ. Please access the car park off Gorton Road. There are dedicated spaces for the event only and any other spaces are reserved for regular users of the centre and you must not park in them.

Additional parking can be found on the King George V playing fields off Beverley Road, Kirkella or the retail park on Springfield Way (no arrangements have been made for either location) and some on street parking.

PARKING/TRAVEL

Parking is available at the near by Anlaby Retail park. There is NO event parking atEast Riding Leisure Centre for this event.

BAGGAGE

We will have a secure marquee area where you can leave your baggage within the leisure centre. We recommend you bring as little baggage as possible. Your baggage tag is attached to your race number, you simply tear it off and attach it to your bag. To collect, show your number to our staff, and they will help you find your baggage.

TOILETS

There will be portable toilets available outside the leisure centre in the Event Village

REFRESHMENTS

There will be water provided at the 5k point of the race, and there will also be water available at the finish along with your post-race goodies and medal (please note the 5k won’t pass a water station on the course).

RESULTS

Results will be available here immediately after the race.
