Dive into a sprint aquathlon like no other at Hampton Pool, an open-air gem framed by beautiful scenery that makes every length feel electric. Straight from the water, you’ll hit the run through iconic Bushy Park, where wide paths, ancient trees, and roaming deer turn a fast furious effort into a truly unforgettable race experience.
The race is a 432m pool swim into a 5km run on a flat course, fantastic for those new to aquathlons or more experienced athletes looking for a PB.
All participants must be 16 years old or above.

Route information
The sprint aquathlon begins with 12 lengths in the outdoor pool (heated to 28*), surrounded by open skies and scenic views, before transitioning quickly into the run. Athletes then head out on a clearly marked course through the iconic Bushy Park, following wide, flat paths that wind through its historic landscape, making for a smooth, fast, and enjoyable route from start to finish. Bonus points if you spot any of Bushy Parks famous deer on the way round!

Get full directionsBy Train - The nearest station is Hampton, which is approximately a 15 minute walk to the pool.
By Bus – The R68 takes you right outside to Hampton Pool Bus Stop, alternatively the 111 or 216 takes you to Hampton Station which is then a 15 minute walk. The R70 or 285 take you to Ormond Drive which is a 5 minute walk from the pool.
Parking - If you decide to drive, unfortunately Hampton Pool Car Park will be closed for the event however there is free street parking on the surrounding roads.

Registration: All participants must sign in on race day at the Event Day Village.
Race Pack Collection: Race Pack will contain an anklet that is used for chip timing. Packs will be available to collect from Hampton Pool either on Saturday 6th June between 15:30 and 17:00, or on the morning of the race between 04:30 and 06:45.
Wave Allocation: You will be allocated your wave based off your predicted times prior to the event. This is to allow a safe swim for all participants, please make sure your predicted times are as accurate as possible!
Race Briefings: Please ensure you are aware of which wave you are in and meet for your race briefing at your designated time. Wave 1 briefing: 05:30 Wave 2 briefing: 06:45
