Adult Nitro Triathlon: 200m swim, 12k bike, 2.5k run

The Atom Triathlon (children aged 11-14): 200m swim, 2km bike, 1.5km run
This triathlon event with 2 distances on offer takes place in the historic market town of Hitchin in Hertfordshire. A great event for both beginners and more seasoned triathletes. The swim is in the famous 50m outdoor pool, allowing that outdoor swim experience whilst maintaining the safety and cleanliness of being in a pool swim, which is comforting for beginners and seasoned athletes alike.
The cycle takes you out in to the beautiful local countryside, before the final leg sees you run around the local park and town centre area.
For the Nano and the Atom, the children will take on a swim in the same pool, starting after all adults have completed the swim, then they take to the field on a fully taped and staked bike course, followed by joining up with the adults run course, but detouring back through the field, so that the children are never out of sight from the event staff, volunteers and marshals, and all spectators, making it a safe environment for them to take part in.
