HOKA Hackney Moves 2026

Runners will cruise down Mare Street through a carnival of sound. You will pass some iconic landmarks and venues, including the famous town hall, Hackney Pitcurehouse, Victoria Park and Hackney Wick. Keep an eye out for the vibrant street art along the route.

To add to this already great mix, the route is flat and fast, making it perfect for anyone doing their first half marathon or looking for a PB.

While the 2026 Route will be similar to previous years, keep an eye out for the updated map which will be released closer to the event date.

This vibrant and fun half-marathon is the headline event of the HOKA Hackney Moves festival, an annual two-day festival (16-17 May 2025) based in Hackney Marshes offering a jam-packed schedule of free entertainment for the whole community to enjoy.

There will be live entertainment and DJs to keep you inspired, both in the Event Village and out on the course. There will be no need for headphones as the streets will be alive with music and a buzzing atmosphere!

Outside of the HOKA Hackney Half, the festival runs a selection of free activities including the HOKA Hackney Moves Community 5K, a variety of fitness classes, plus live music and entertainment. Soak up the atmosphere in the Event Village with an array of delicious street food and refreshing drinks to enjoy. The weekend promises to be full of excitement and a memorable experience for all.
