This Manchester to Blackpool ride will be along the open roads in Lancashire. The roughly 60 mile route from The Piazza, Salford Quays, will visit some beautiful stretches of country lanes before you finish on Blackpool's South Promenade, where you'll be able to enjoy music, food and a drink from the beer tent.
The route weaves through Leigh, past Haigh Hall, into Preston and Warton, before finishing at Blackpool. There'll be numerous places to stop for refreshment along the way.
*GPX routes will be available to participants two weeks before the event

Parking
At the start - parking will be available at the Lowry Outlet Car Park, Manchester, M50 3AH and will cost £5 for the day for participants. Pay on leaving, at Pay Station, but first show your rider number at the Customer Service Hub on the First Floor of the Centre. They'll give you a 'special tariff' ticket to use at the Pay Station.
At the finish - you can find parking at the pay and display car park on South Yeadon Way, FY1 6BF.
Coach Transfer
Special coaches will run from Blackpool in the morning to take riders (and bikes) to the Start and in the afternoon to take riders back to Manchester. Please book in advance to guarantee a seat.
Transport ticket holders please note:
Morning coaches leave at 6.30am sharp from Blackpool (FY4 1RW). Please meet at 6.00am by the Solaris Centre, South Promenade, Blackpool to start loading. If you book MORNING transport, your name will be on a list.
Return transport to Manchester:
Coaches will run at set times in the afternoon to take cyclists/bikes back to the Start - between approximately 1.30pm and 5.30pm. All journeys are non-stop.
Transport tickets are NON REFUNDABLE and we advise you book these in advance when you book your place on the ride.

Start times are for guidance and to reduce congestion at the start and along the route.
*Riders will set off in 30-second windows.
Age Requirements
Riders must be aged 14 or over to participate in Manchester to Blackpool with those aged 16 and under needing to be accompanied on the ride by an adult over 18.
ALL riders aged 17 years or under MUST have a signed parental consent form. The form is emailed to each rider and posted in rider packs with the Ride Guide
Ride Packs
All ride packs will be posted to participants. If you sign up in the 2 weeks before the event you may need to collect your entry pack on the day of the event. Postage is included in your entry fee.
