Join us for the Leicestershire Half Marathon on Sunday 28th February 2027
Race a scenic Half Marathon through the Leicestershire countryside on a fully road-closed route that blends community energy with open-road freedom. Starting at Charnwood College in Loughborough, you will head out through Shepshed, Belton, and Hathern on an undulating course that rewards steady pacing and strong legs.
Entry prices will rise in stages, so securing your place early is the best way to guarantee the lowest rate. Super Early Bird entry ends 15 March, Early Bird entry ends 30 August, Standard entry closes 24 January 2027, and Last Minute entry will be available until race day, subject to availability.

Expect fantastic local support as you make your way back toward the finish, with friendly marshals, clear signage, and a lively event village waiting at the end. The surface is mainly tarmac with some grass sections, giving you a varied and engaging race-day feel.

No specific event parking - we recommend using town centre parking and walking to the event from there.
Event day logistics
09:00 am - Half Marathon start
CUT-OFF
Please note there is a 3 hour cut off on this race due to road closures in place
MINIMUM AGES
17 years and above
BAGGAGE
We will have a secure marquee in the event village where you can leave your baggage. We recommend you bring as little baggage as possible. Your baggage tag is attached to your race number, you simply tear it off and attach to your bag. To collect, show your number to our staff and they will help you find your baggage.
TOILETS
There will be portable toilets in place in the event village.
REFRESHMENTS
There will be 3 water stations on the course, at approximately 3.5, 7, and 10 miles. There will also be water available at the finish along with your post race goodies and medal.
RESULTS
Results will be available on www.runthrough.co.uk after the race.

We will have an official photographer at the event, please check out our photos page after the race.
