Route information

This half marathon UKA-approved routes are set in Battersea Park which is a totally flat and fast course making it a hot spot for personal bests! The race will start and finish at the bandstand and take you for loops around the Boating Lake - the course is easy to follow, with kilometre signs along the course, and will be an exciting race to watch those runners fly around the park!

Parking
There is a paid car park open to the public at Battersea Park, however, participants are encouraged to avoid travelling by car if possible due to the limited number of spaces.
By Train
Battersea Park Railway Station is a 10-minute walk away from the Bandstand and has frequent services from Victoria.
By Bus
Bus services run frequently from Vauxhall Railway Station to Battersea Park.

Event day logistics

8:30am: Half Marathon starts

Registration
The event HQ and registration will be located next to the Battersea Park Bandstand. Please ensure you arrive in plenty of time in order to complete the registration process.
Race Packs
Race packs are to be collected on the day of the event, before the start of your race. You will not receive anything in the post.
Age Requirements
Runners for the half marathon must be aged 17 or over.
Bag Drop
There will be a secure area where bags can be left, though it is recommended that you bring as little baggage as possible. Your bag tag is attached to your race number which you can tear off and attach to your bag.
Refreshments
There will be water stations at the 2.5k point of the race and Science in Sport gels.
Toilets
There are 2 public toilets in Battersea Park which you'll be able to use. Please note that they are about a 5-minute walk from the start area and event village.
Headphones
It is not recommended that you wear in-piece headphones during the race so you stay alert to what is going on around you and hear the encouragement from marshals and spectators. However, you can use bone conduction headphones - there will be Shokz bone conduction headphones available to try!

Your race timings will be published on the RunBritain results page after the race. A link will be sent via email.
