Get ready to power down your screens and pump up your sneakers at the "Log Off and Lace Up One-Mile Fun Walk and Run" hosted by Bellmore Junior Girl Scout Troop #933! Join us on Screen Free Saturday, May 9th, at Randy Lane Park for an energizing morning that will have you moving and grooving without a screen in sight. Kick-off is at 8:30 AM sharp, so come early for the music and pre-race festivities starting at 8 AM; don't forget, you can register on race day starting the same time! This isn't just about breaking a sweat; it's a mission led by Shore Road School 5th graders to encourage community bonding and decrease screen time. Embrace the outdoors and connect with others as we follow a scenic one-mile route and enjoy snacks and drinks for a good cause — supporting our event and Bronze Award project.
